Walkthrough: making a Memory
One photo in, one print that plays it back, out. Here is the whole path between them, and what happens on the other end when somebody points a phone at it.
1. Upload the photo
Start at memories.bearlog.app and pick a photo from your phone. It is checked the moment it lands: a photo too plain for a phone to find later is turned away before you pay, not after. Preparing the picture happens on your own phone, so the upload itself takes seconds.
2. Confirm the crop
A wide photo keeps its width, an upright one keeps its shape, each in its own frame instead of everything squared off to match. Checkout shows the crop before you pay, so the framing is settled on screen, not on a parcel that has already shipped.
3. Add the video
Drag the video on. It can happen right there while you’re paying, not only afterwards.
4. Choose what gets printed
Stickers, fridge magnets, or a board up to A4, all matte, because a shiny print is one a phone cannot read. Or skip the print entirely and take the print-ready file instead: print it at any shop, at any size, as many times as you like, for as long as you like. Pricing is three ready sizes, not a table of fees.
5. Pay once
No subscription, ever. One flat delivery charge on anything printed, free over a threshold, and nothing that renews or expires afterwards.
6. Point a phone at it
Upload it, get it back printed, then any phone brings it to life. Looping.
Scanning the code opens the phone’s own camera, not a page with a button on it. Point it at the print and the video returns on the paper itself, in place, at the size and angle it’s hanging. Two taps opens the full player: sound, controls, and a copy to save.
That’s the whole loop: a photo that used to hold still, playing every time it’s tapped or scanned, for as long as the print exists.
