What Memories is
Photos hold still. Memories plays them back. Order one at

One piece, one video
A Memory is a single hosted video behind a single link. Order extra pieces of the same Memory, one for every sponsor at a wedding or everyone who was there, and every piece plays the same video. It arrives empty, in a sleeve that says so, with a code to scan and a chip to tap. Sign in, drag the video on, and from that moment every tap plays it.
Scan before tap
Every piece carries both: a QR code and an NFC chip. The QR is the one that always works, on any phone. The chip is the one that feels like nothing else in the room, you hold a card near a phone and the video just starts. Neither is called by its acronym on the piece itself, because nobody handing this to their mother needs to know what NFC stands for.
Built for an occasion, not a colour
Seven themes, shelved by what they’re for rather than picked from a swatch. Three for weddings, for the reception and the sponsor gifts. Two for remembrance, one of them near black with a single candle’s light, for the piece that sits next to a photo of someone who’s gone. Two for pets, for the piece that will absolutely end up on a fridge. The printed piece and the page it opens share the same seven looks, so what a buyer approves at checkout is what arrives.

Paid once, at the time of ordering. Nothing renews, nothing expires, and the video is never held hostage behind a plan that lapses. That’s the specific complaint about this whole category: a card that played a memory two years ago and now plays a dead link. A Memory doesn’t have a link that can die quietly, because there’s no bill it depends on to keep the lights on.
